The seven speediest superyachts on the market right now

24 July 2025 • Written by Emily Dawkins

With all eyes on the longest and largest yachts for sale, there lies a segment of the brokerage market offering something more suited for thrill-seeking owners searching for speed and style without the over 50-metre-plus tagline.

From streamlined "speed-demons" to smaller family cruisers with plenty of horsepower, BOAT rounds up seven of the fastest superyachts currently listed for sale, starting with a blistering 73-knot racer…

Bolide 80

Max speed: 73 knots
Length:
24.9m
Builder: Bolide Yachts

Dubbed "the fastest superyacht in the world", Bolide 80 stunned the industry when she hit the water in 2023 with her 73-knot maximum speed and first-of-a-kind Hyper Muscle Yacht status.  Brunello Acampora and Victory Design penned her grey and aerodynamic low-profile design and naval architecture, which saw the team take home the "Outstanding Exterior Design" award at the 2024 BOAT Design and Innovation Awards. The motor yacht was constructed entirely in lightweight carbon fibre with a "multi-stepped" planing hull to help her reach the impressive top speed, which comes from three MAN 12V diesel engines each delivering around 2,000 hp. Inside, she boasts a matte black and punchy orange design, offering accommodation for six guests in three cabins.

Bolide 80 is asking €6,950,000 with Ocean Independence.

80 Veloce

Max speed: 60 knots
Length: 25.5m
Builder: Cantieri di Pisa

Designed by former Bugatti car designer Etienne Salomé, it's no surprise that the 25.5-metre 80 Veloce is the fastest superyacht (by some 30 knots) from the Italian shipyard - currently in build with delivery scheduled for this year. Streamlined car-like features characterise her profile, including elongated panels of glass across her hull, while an elegant, contemporary design from Redaelli Associati clads her interior, accommodating six in three cabins. Power for this "speed-demon" is from triple 2,000hp MAN 12V engines - a popular choice for thrill-seeking yacht fanatics – driving her to reach speeds exceeding 60 knots.

80 Veloce is asking €7,200,000 with Northrop & Johnson.

Miss Moneypenny

Max speed: 58 knots
Length: 25.4m
Builder: AB Yachts - Next Yacht Group

Another recent addition to the global superyacht fleet, Miss Moneypenny was delivered in 2024 as the fourth unit from the Italian yard's AB 80 model. Built within the series described as the "Formula One car of the seas", it's no surprise that the motor yacht can reach speeds of 58 knots, powered by a trio of waterjets coupled with three (you guessed it) 2,000hp MAN 12V engines. Designed throughout by the shipyard, the motor yacht offers accommodation for up to eight guests in four cabins, with onboard features including an original "open-roof" interpretation in the lounge for open-air dining.

Miss Moneypenny is asking €7,000,000 with Royal Yacht International.

Valyra

Max speed: 58 knots
Length: 26m
Builder: Hodgdon

As the chase boat of the famed 49.9-metre Devonport superyacht Alamsharbuilt by the late Prince Karim Al-Husseini (also known as the Aga Khan IV) and known for her very own 45-knot top speed – it's no surprise that Valyra is just as punchy. Penned by Donald L. Blount (who is also responsible for the design of Alamshar) and Pininfarina, the 26-metre was designed from the very start to be fast. She was constructed entirely in lightweight carbon fibre and incorporates advanced technology to minimise noise and vibration when travelling at her 58-knot top speed, which comes from triple 1,800hp MAN V12 engines coupled with Kamewa Jets. Accommodation is for four guests in two cabins.

Valyra is asking $5,500,000 with Neff Yacht Sales.

Shooting Star

Max speed: 52 knots
Length: 35.4m
Builder: Pershing

Shooting Star does exactly as her name suggests at a 52-knot top speed, driven through the water by her twin 3700hp MTU engines, a gas turbine and waterjets. Delivered in 2006 by the Italian shipyard, the superyacht was constructed as one of several from the renowned 115 model, designed throughout by Fulvio De Simoni. She underwent an extensive refit in 2011, which saw the service of her engines and turbine, the overhaul of her waterjets and other additions to make her commercially compliant for up to 10 guests in four cabins.

Shooting Star is asking $4,058,521 with Next Generation Yachting.

AB95 GT

Max speed: 50 knots
Length: 28.5m
Builder: AB Yachts - Next Yacht Group

Despite said by the Italian yard to follow "in the wake" of her larger sistership, the AB110, the 28.5-metre AB95 GT is set to do quite the opposite, beating the 33.7-metre model's top speeds by some seven knots. Triple 2,000hp MAN engines, twin waterjets and an MJP central booster give the model her speed, while her in-house design features a "ready-to-enjoy" beach club, a sun-drenched sundeck and airy interiors accommodating up to ten guests in four cabins. The first unit from the model is currently under construction and scheduled for delivery this year.

The AB95 GT is asking €11,650,000 with Royal Yacht International

Astro

Max speed: 50 knots
Length: 31.3m
Builder: Baia

It's not just Astro's distinctive "inside-out" graffiti that draws attention from onlookers; her 50-knot top speed is another eye-catcher. This speedy motor yacht was designed by Carlo Galeazzi, delivered in 2010 as one of six from the Italian yard's One Hundred model and powered by triple 2,450hp MTU engines. Inside, Astro is just as attractive. Her open-plan interiors are clad in light woods and white furniture, illuminated by bounds of natural light thanks to an extensive amount of glazing across her profile. Accommodation is for 10 guests in four cabins.

Astro is asking €2,450,000 with Ocean Drive.
