The 42.5 metre Mengi Yay sailing yacht L'Aquila has had a price reduction of $1,500,000 with Mark Seaton at Yacht & Villa.
L'Aquila was commissioned in May 2019 by a repeat client looking to upgrade from their previous 34 metre sailing yacht by the same name. Built with a steel hull and aluminium composite superstructure to RINA class, the new L'Aquila was delivered in 2021 by Mengi Yay as the shipyard's flagship sailing yacht.
The 42 metre sailing yacht features naval architecture and an exterior profile by Ginton Naval Architects with a colourful interior from the boards of Rush Design.
Accommodation is for up to 10 guests in five cabins comprising a master suite, two VIP cabins and two double cabins. A further three cabins sleep a crew of six.
L'Aquila's rigging carries over 700 square metres of sail, while her twin Yanmar engines can achieve around 2,900 nautical miles of fuel range at a cruising speed of 10 knots. Extensive banks of service batteries are able to provide up to 24 hours of operation without the use of generators.
L'Aquila has a generous beam of nine metres and a four-metre draft suited to owners looking to access shallower anchorages and harbours.
Lying in Antalya, L'Aquila is now asking $11,250,000.
