The 50 most expensive yachts for sale now

25 June 2026 • Written by Holly Margerrison and Emily Dawkins

What does it take to join the upper echelon of the brokerage market? Exceptional pedigree, world-class design and, of course, a nine-figure asking price. From explorer yachts for sale and record-breaking sailing yachts to luxury motor yachts, vintage classic yachts and some of the world's most impressive superyachts, BOAT rounds up the 50 most expensive yachts for sale, led by the 100.8-metre I Dynasty...

I Dynasty

Asking €240,000,000 with Merle Wood & Associates and SuperYachtsMonaco

Builder: Kusch Yachts
Length: 100.8m
Designers: Vega Yachts, The A Group, Massari Design

Taking the crown as the most expensive yacht for sale is the 100.8-metre Kusch Yachts superyacht I Dynasty. When delivered in 2015, she became the second-largest build from the German shipyard - not far behind the 133.2-metre Al Mirqab, delivered seven years prior. Vega Yachts and The A Group's Richard Hein are responsible for the project's exterior design and naval architecture - taking on the challenge of adhering to strict Passenger Yacht Code (PYC) rules and multiple owner requests. She soon became recognised as "one of the most complex yachts in history", but as a result, is now one of the first superyachts fully certified to PYC standards, able to carry up to 36 guests on board and accommodate up to 34 guests in 12 cabins. Massari Design penned her interiors, which, although classically extravagant, hone into the "cosy family yacht with 'wow'" brief that her owner asked for.

Lady Lara joined the market in September 2023, marking the first time she had been available for sale since her delivery in 2015. The second pool is found on the sundeck with a swim-up bar, plus a large daybed and sunlounger also on this level. Accommodation is for a total of 16 guests across eight cabins and the master suite is positioned on a dedicated owner's deck. Luna

Asking €218,000,000 with Large Yacht Co

Builder: Oceanco
Length: 90m
Designers: Luiz De Basto

A World Superyacht Awards winner, Luna (previously Dar) is inspired by a hammerhead shark and features sinuous lines, wide-set wing stations and a mast modelled after a dorsal fin, courtesy of Luiz De Basto. The nautical theme continues indoors, including a school of fish modelled from Venetian plaster that winds its way up the stairs – one of several pieces made by DKT Artworks. An owner's deck, complete with a private saloon and Jacuzzi and a wellness area (with Hammam, sauna and massage room), is also well worth mentioning. But Luna is renowned for her extensive use of glass. There are 390 square metres in her superstructure alone, measuring 30 millimetres thick at its heaviest point.

Luna

Asking €200,000,000 with Eastwind Yachts
Credit: Eastwind Yachts

Builder: Lloyd Werft
Length: 114.2m
Designers: Newcruise, Donald Starkey

The 114.2-metre motor yacht Luna was delivered in 2010 as the world's second-largest expedition yacht. It's her ice-class hull, range of 9,500 nautical miles and volume of 5,655GT that make the German-built motor yacht so impressive in terms of specs. However, her long and low aft deck, multiple fold-down balconies, twin helipads and her mammoth 12-by-five-metre pool – the biggest ever seen on a superyacht at the time – are what really steal the show. Inside, up to 18 guests are accommodated across nine cabins (cared for by a crew of 51), with a huge list of amenities including a conference room, dance floor, cinema, beauty salon, beach club, gym and Jacuzzi. Luna's re-entry to the market in June 2025 marks the second time the yacht has been for sale since her launch. She was previously sold in 2014 before undergoing a €50,000,000 refit in the same year.

Energy

Asking €185,000,000 with Burgess and Fraser
Credit: Fraser

Builder: Amels
Length: 77.8m
Designers: Espen Øino, François Zuretti

The brief given to Energy's design team was to "defy convention and find ways to connect with the ocean", and the 77.8-metre motor yacht certainly achieves that with distinction. Each of her five decks offers a new experience for her 14 guests – accommodated in seven cabins – to enjoy. The lower deck boasts a sea-level gym with beauty salon, sauna, Hammam and beach club with bar, while the main deck is home to a boardroom-style office, martial arts room and an intimate "waterfall lounge". Elsewhere, the bridge deck is host to a music lounge with a Steinway baby grand piano and marble-topped bar – yet it doesn't stop there. The upper deck – also home to the owner's private saloon – is equipped with "one of the largest pools on any yacht, anywhere", while the top deck's helipad forward doubles as a sun lounge or a yoga studio. Energy was delivered in 2022 and has been used only privately since her launch. She was a nominee at the 2023 World Superyacht Awards for the Motor Yacht of the Year award, narrowly beaten by the 75-metre Kenshō.

Pelorus

Asking €160,000,000 with Edmiston

Builder: Lürssen
Length: 114.5m
Designers: Tim Heywood, Terence Disdale

Pelorus was delivered in 2003 as the 11th largest superyacht in the world and easily the largest yacht to be built by Lürssen at the time. She was commissioned by a Saudi businessman who enjoyed a single cruise aboard his new vessel before a new buyer made an offer too good to refuse. Exterior designer Tim Heywood stocked the yacht with a top deck lido featuring two swimming pools, two helicopter pads and a vast sea-level platform that is revealed by opening the transom. The immense task of designing the interior was carried out by Terence Disdale, who opted to use natural materials wherever possible to maintain a "casual" atmosphere to offset the yacht’s imposing frame. Pelorus can welcome 18 guests, with room for an additional 46 crew members.

Length: 76.5m
Designers: Studio De Voogt, Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects, Amy Halffman

Boardwalk joined the market for the first time since her 2021 delivery in September 2025, putting the high-quality European craftsmanship and clever yet stylish American design that she is famed for into the spotlight once again. Commissioned by American businessman and hospitality magnate Tilman Fertitta (also an experienced and serial yacht owner) Boardwalk V is host to four expansive decks and 1,848GT of interior volume, with a long list of onboard amenities suited to "multi-generational enjoyment". Vanish

Asking €148,000,000 with Burgess and Feadship Resale

Builder: Feadship
Length: 71.5m
Designer: Harrison Eidsgaard, Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects

Vanish joined the market for the first time in March 2026, having been owned by the same experienced owner since her launch in 2021. Harrison Eidsgaard is behind both her elongated and slender profile and her interiors, which, according to her broker, were designed with "a focus on light, flow and comfort". As such, the main saloon and formal dining room, as well as the skylounge located on the bridge deck, are thematically connected by a shared colour palette of relaxing earthy tones with navy accents. Accommodation is for 14 guests across seven cabins, including a generous full-beam owner's suite on the bridge deck.

Asking €132,000,000 with Burgess and Torrance Yachts

Builder: Amels
Length: 74m
Designers: Tim Heywood, Winch Design

Synthesis was delivered in 2021 as the fifth unit from the highly sought-after Amels 242 Limited Edition series. With 1,790GT of interior volume to play with, Winch Design curated an interior clad in contemporary luxury, using a palette of neutral shades and natural, textured materials to win her "Best Interior Design, Motor Yachts 500GT and Above" at the 2022 Design & Innovation Awards. Onboard highlights include a gym with direct access to the sea, a lower deck wellness area and an owner's deck with a private area forward fitted with a spa pool. Synthesis is fresh from a 2026 refit at Damen Yachting, which included the completion of her five-year survey and a full exterior repaint.

Kenshō

Asking €124,500,000 with Christie Yachts

Builder: Admiral
Length: 75.2m
Designers: Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture, archineers.berlin, Jouin Manku

Kenshō made an immediate impact on the superyacht world at her delivery in 2022. The following year, she claimed both Motor Yacht of the Year and Best Interior Design (1,500GT+) at the World Superyacht Awards, not least for her striking metallic blue-green profile inspired by a Ford Mustang colour from the 1960s, which makes her instantly recognisable. Kenshō (deriving from a Japanese word meaning “seeing one’s true nature") is host to serene and contemporary interiors, with an unusual onboard layout that sees the communal living areas on the upper deck. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across eight cabins.
