Promise.

Asking €54,950,000 with Edmiston

Builder: Feadship
Length: 51m
Designers: Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects, Bannenberg & Rowell

A recent six-million-euro refit transformed the Dutch-built motor yacht Promise., refreshing her exterior paint, upgrading her systems and reimagining her interiors. Delivered in 2018, she marked the first Feadship yacht to achieve an Ice Class 1E & LR Polar Ship certificate, making her more than capable of exploring polar-capped regions. British studio Bannenberg & Rowell curated a contemporary feel throughout her interior, using pale woods, bespoke joinery and predominantly neutral-toned soft furnishings accented by bright pops of colour found in artworks and modern details. On board, guests can enjoy versatile and open-plan living spaces, including a light-filled observation lounge and a bridge deck multipurpose lounge which can be transformed for any need, from a massage space to a workout studio. Accommodation is for 12 in six cabins, including two master suites, with all of the cabins located on the main deck.

Asking €54,000,000 with Ocean Independence

Builder: Codecasa
Length: 65m
Designer: Codecasa, M2 Atelier

She is one of three 65-metre yachts from the Italian shipyard, built from its successful 65M platform, and is the second largest Codecasa vessel by interior volume at 1,215GT - just pipped by Joia the Crown Jewel's 1,278GT. Despite seeming minimalistic from the outside, Regina d'Italia is host to a striking interior from M2 Atelier (with creative guidance from a "world-renowned fashion designer"), adorned in a modern art deco-cum-baroque inspired aesthetic. Highlights include a cinema skylounge, a fully equipped gym and an elongated forward-facing pool on the sundeck.

Builder: Royal Huisman
Length: 56.1m
Designers: Dykstra Naval Architects, Mark Whiteley

The 56.1-metre ketch Apsara is a modern classic from Dutch pedigree yard Royal Huisman, delivered in 2018 and combining traditional hull lines with a powerful contemporary sailing rig and a clean, understated aesthetic throughout. Her exterior is characterised by two low-profile teak-clad deckhouses and a versatile mid-deck lounge, complete with a sun canopy that can be deployed at anchor, while the main cockpit is designed for relaxed socialising, with flexible tables that can be arranged for everything from casual coffee to a dinner setting for 10. Interiors by Mark Whiteley channel a refined New England-inspired style, with brush-painted white panelling offset by rich mahogany joinery. Panoramic windows fill the main deck saloon with natural light, while a lower saloon forward is fitted with a high-resolution cinema screen, surround sound system and a fully equipped gym. Accommodation is for eight guests across four cabins, including a light-filled owner’s suite with an oval skylight.

Christina O

Builder: Canadian Vickers
Length: 99.2m
Designers: Costas Carabelas, Prof. Cäsar Pinnau, Howaldtswerke, Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture,  Apostolos Molindris

Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Winston Churchill and John F. Kennedy are some of the names that have walked on Christina O's decks or sat at her bar – the latter built from the wood of a sunken Spanish galleon ship. She was originally delivered as a WWII anti-submarine vessel and was later converted into a private yacht by Aristotle Onassis, the second husband of Jackie Kennedy. Two of her most talked-about features are a mosaic-tiled, saltwater swimming pool that converts to a dance floor and the whale foreskin-upholstered bar stools which surround Christina O's rope-covered bar, colloquially termed Ari's Bar.

Bleu de Nîmes

Asking €47,000,000 with SuperYachtsMonaco
Credit: SuperYachtsMonaco

Builder: Clelands, FYD Monaco
Length: 72.3m
Designers: Pier Vittorio Cerruti

Bleu de Nîmes was originally delivered in 1980, commissioned by the British Royal Navy as a degaussing ship, then known as RMAS Lodestone. After a decade of service, she was purchased by an experienced superyacht owner in 1999 and so began an exhaustive six-year refit which transformed her into a capable private explorer yacht. In 2016, her owner decided to upgrade her into a "stylish charter yacht" and embarked on another major rebuild - this one taking four years and completing in 2020. Works included a 16-metre extension to her amidships and stern, and an increase of volume by nearly 600GT, expanding her accommodation to a generous 13-cabin layout for up to 28 guests, cared for by a crew of 23. In terms of amenities, Bleu de Nîmes boasts a library room, an "immersive" cinema room, a beach club and a fully-equipped, 50-square-metre gym next to a massage room and sauna.

This Is It

Asking €46,000,000 with IYC and Royal Yacht International

Builder: Tecnomar
Length: 43.5m
Designers: The Italian Sea Group, Gian Marco Campanino

A new addition to the most expensive yachts for sale line-up is the radical 43.5-metre catamaran This Is It, now on the market for the first time. First unveiled to the industry at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show, This Is It quickly drew a crowd for her unique and mind-bending profile, which is characterised by a curved overall structure with 600 square metres of glass panelling and unusual, slanted decks. Aft is where the real show is, with the catamaran's wide 14.5-metre beam showcasing a glass-sided infinity pool which floats across the yacht's two hulls, sweeping asymmetric steps which lead to the grand al fresco dining space on the main deck aft and the glass balcony of the private owner's suite above. The yacht's design is said to be "unlike anything the superyacht world has seen" and as such, has been a firm favourite on the charter market, attracting celebrity charter guests including Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.
