New-build Rossinavi motor yacht Project Vector 50 sold
by Malcolm Maclean
Italian yard Rossinavi has sold a new-build 48.8 metre fast displacement motor yacht, currently known as Project Vector 50, with the American client introduced by Dean Anthony at the Allied Marine Superyacht Division.
Hull FR041 for the Viareggio-based yard, her exterior by Team For Design Enrico Gobbi strikes a balance between elegance and attitude, with delivery due in 2020. Federico Rossi, COO of Rossinavi describes the project as “a fusion of Rossinavi know-how, Italian design plus technological and mechanical components from the United States”.
With three decks, large saloons, an elegant master suite and floor to ceiling sliding glass windows for the guests on board to enjoy a panoramic view, Project Vector 50 is a fast and light yacht with excellent stability to cruise the sea of the Bahamas as well as to sail in the waters off Florida because of its shallow draft.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests split across six cabins, including a forward-facing master suite. Below decks a VIP suite, three double rooms and a twin cabin complete the layout of the guest areas, while the crew quarters are suitable for a staff of up to nine people.
The yacht’s propulsion system has not been disclosed, but the yard states that she will have a cruising speed of 15 knots, topping out at 19 knots.
The asking price of Project Vector 50 has been withheld.
