7 January 2021By Malcolm Maclean

The 40 metre Perini Navi sailing yacht State of Grace has had a central agency change and is now listed for sale by Bruce Brakenhoff and Cornelius Gerling at Edmiston & Company.

Built in aluminium by Italian yard Perini Navi with naval architecture by Ron Holland, State of Grace was delivered in 2013 as the first yacht in the yard’s 40m fast cruising series. The full beam master suite comes with king size bed and features a gym and a large Turkish hammam steam shower. Guest accommodation offers two queen size double cabins and one further convertible twin cabin with Pullman bed – accommodating up to nine guests in total. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, television screens and full en suite facilities while the crew quarters sleep eight staff aboard this yacht for sale.

State of Grace is asking €11,750,000

The expansive split-level main saloon boasts a comfortable seating and dining area, while the cockpit provides options for al fresco dining under the shade of a Bimini top. The lower saloon has incredible headroom thanks to the split-level design, creating two social areas on the main and lower deck. The dining room, on the lower level, has direct access to the galley, a stainless-steel affair with professional cooking block, which provides a professional environment for the chef to fulfil the owner’s wishes.

The state-of-the-art EC6+ carbon fibre rigging combined with the Southern Spars carbon Hybrid Modulus mast and boom provide significant savings in weight. An updated generation of Perini Navi’s captive reel winches can hold 12 tonnes and rewind 35 metres of sheets per minute. The automatic furling system for all foresails are by Bamar and positioned under the deck to optimize deck space. Under power, a 671hp caterpillar diesel engine gives her a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
