New to market, the 36.6-metre Willard Boat Works motor yacht Silverado has been listed for sale with Robert Petrina and Mike Hickey of Northrop & Johnson.

Delivered in 1974 and refitted in 1993, Silverado has cruised actively for decades and was designed for long-range offshore cruising with an all-American cruising pedigree. She was counted among the largest fibreglass yachts of her era and was built during a golden age of yachting construction, with exterior and interior design by John Harris. Her broker notes that the yacht’s custom build and proven history place her as a unique offering.

Currently located in Poulsbo, U.S., Silverado is asking $2,499,000

Silverado accommodates 10 guests across five cabins, including a private main deck master suite, with further provisions for a crew of six. The owner’s stateroom is outfitted with a California King berth, high-gloss varnished wood finishes and elegant gold fixtures. Meanwhile, the four guest staterooms are en suite and located below deck, connected by a central guest lounge and library.

Speaking to her expedition-focused style is a rare in-hull underwater viewing platform. Throughout, natural light, achieved through expansive windows and portlights, is a key feature. The main saloon houses a card and game table and a full-service bar, while the formal dining area features a scale model of Silverado herself as a focal point.

Silverado’s exterior spaces are where this yacht truly shines. She is made for adventurers; the yacht’s fully enclosed covered aft deck, Portuguese bridge with observation area, integrated swim platform and deck space designed to carry toys and equipment speak to this. The dedicated navigation office and raised pilothouse ensure offshore navigation is an easy option, also.

Powered by twin Caterpillar D349 main engines, Silverado has a cruising speed of 14 knots and can reach a top speed of 17 knots. She is also outfitted with Koopnautic stabilisers for added comfort, while the heavy-duty construction and displacement hull contribute to peaceful cruising conditions.

Currently located in Poulsbo, U.S., Silverado is asking $2,499,000.
