Italian yard Baglietto has announced the sale of the fifth hull in its T52 motor yacht series, after the fourth hull was sold in December 2021.

Currently in-build and known hull 10251, the 52 metre yacht was penned by Francesco Paszkowski Design and sold to an American client.

Stand out design features include the 24 metre-long sundeck hosting sun lounging and an infinity pool. Elsewhere, the open stern features a beach across three levels and a swimming pool that can be concealed to extend the deck surface.

On the upper deck, floor-to-ceiling windows opening on three sides create an al fresco lounge with a dining area.

Speaking on the sale, Baglietto’s chief executive officer Diego Deprati said: “This T52, the second sold on the American market in a limited time span, combines cutting-edge technology with the contemporary wish to live in close contact with the sea.”

Hull 10251 is powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines that will push her to a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. Delivery is expected in 2024.

Although no hull in the series has hit the water yet, the first T52 is set to be launched by the end of 2022.

The news caps off a successful week for Baglietto after the yard announced the sale of the fifth hull in its DOM133 series. “It’s a wonderful start to the new year,” said Baglietto’s chief commercial officer Fabio Ermetto. “Both sales are result of our close cooperation with the American office and its seals an extraordinary week.”
