Italian shipyard Baglietto has launched the fourth unit in its popular 40-metre DOM 133 series at its La Spezia construction site. Now named Lee, the new yacht is one of Baglietto's most successful series to date, with eight units sold since it was brought to market in 2022 and a smaller spin-off series in the works.
Lee has the same Stefano Vafiadis exterior as her three sisters, while interiors are courtesy of the owner's designer Tehila Bracha Magyar Shelef.
With a name borrowed from the Latin 'Domus', meaning home, the yacht interprets the 'home on the water' ethos with a focus on high-volume interiors and comfortable long-range cruising. The DOM 133 models are noteworthy for their aft deck pools, with a split-level design that creates a comfortable social area at the stern of the boat.
The yacht has a traditional layout, with a large main saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors that can be left open to promote a connection to the cockpit. Forward is the owner's cabin, which has a foldable balcony that is capable of extending the cabin area by an additional two metres.
There are a further four cabins on the lower deck, including a VIP, while the upper deck volunteers a sky lounge which has one key difference when compared to past DOM 133 models; the windows have been lowered and a large bar unit has been installed on the side, which also serves the outdoor dining area.
Crowning the yacht is a sundeck with a "convertible" sliding perforated sunroof which offers a good mix of shade and sun. Other alfresco areas include a large sunbathing area on the bow.
Key numbers include a draft of 2.1 metres, a beam of 8.7 metres and twin Caterpillar C32 engines allowing her to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots.
