The biggest yachting news stories of October 2025

31 October 2025 • Written by Dea Jusufi

This month, it was refits and rebuilds that caught the eye of BOAT's readers. At the top of the list is Acania, a classic Pusey yacht that was salvaged from a "backwater slough in Seattle", though the converted fishing vessel Azumi and former naval ship JeMaSa also spent time in the spotlight.

Other breaking yacht news included a first glimpse of Project Defy – the largest Lürssen currently under construction at 146.2 metres and 10,500GT – a vintage yacht concept from Italian yard Sanlorenzo and the unexpected arrival of a Feadship explorer in Canary Wharf, London.

BOAT crunches the numbers and brings you the stories that earned the most clicks this month...
