The new Codecasa 43 hull (known as C124) has arrived at the shipyard's Viareggio facility for outfitting. Delivery is scheduled for summer 2024.
Work on the 43-metre project began on speculation in April 2022, with the owner joining the build during an advanced stage of construction. The superyacht is the sixth unit in the series and follows the delivery of Boji, which hit the water in 2022.
The exterior features strong lines, a classic vertical bow and a gunmetal grey finish. All naval architecture has been designed in-house to Lloyds Class specifications.
While little is known about the hull's interiors, large windows are found throughout the vessel to maximise natural light. The owner's cabin is located on the forward main deck while the rest of the accommodation comprises two doubles and two twin rooms on the lower. Crew accommodation includes four twin cabins with separate captain's quarters.
The vessel will be powered by a pair of Caterpillar C32 Acert engines for a top speed of 16 knots at light displacement and has a range of 4,000 nautical miles when cruising at a more moderate 11 knots. It will also be MCA compliant.
This follows the recent launch of the 57.8-metre Kathryn, another on-spec build that was sold earlier in 2023.Read More/Watch: 58m Codecasa C127 launched and named Kathryn
