Codecasa Shipyard begins construction on 57m Hull F81

5 December 2023 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Codecasa Shipyard has begun construction on a  56.8-metre yacht known provisionally as Hull F81. The Codecasa 57 is underway at the shipyard's Pisa facility, with delivery anticipated for summer 2025.

Little has been revealed on the project so far, though the yacht will be built in steel and aluminium to Lloyd's Register classification. Accommodation will be across an owner's suite and five guest cabins, in addition to the captain's cabin and six double cabins for the crew. An elevator will also serve all decks.

Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, Hull F81 will reach a maximum speed of 17 knots at light displacement and a range of 5,000 nautical miles when pared back to 12 knots.

This announcement follows the news that the new Codecasa 43 hull (known as C124) had moved to outfitting in Viareggio.
