The Delta Marine superyacht Moonstone has been redelivered from Damen Yachting's Vlissingen site. The 79.2-metre, previously known as Albatross, has officially completed her 26-month refit with Amels Refit and will now embark on a private itinerary with her owners. According to BOATPro, she has departed the Netherlands and is en route to London, UK.

Works included major upgrades to the naval architecture and exterior profile, along with a significant overhaul of the François Zuretti interiors from the yacht's 2016 delivery. British studio Harrison Eidsgaard oversaw both the exterior and interior transformations, which included a newly reconfigured layout. This allowed for the addition of a beach club with a wellness centre, large outdoor pool, winter garden and enlarged exterior seating areas.

Moonstone was relaunched in March 2025

Originally measuring 72.2 metres, Moonstone emerged from the shed with a seven-metre hull extension, where 10 metres had been removed and 17 metres added.

"After months of work on this beautiful project, we proudly bid her farewell," said project manager Daan Langezaal. "The collaboration with the owner's team ran like clockwork, and challenges were successfully overcome. A big thank you to everyone involved in this beautiful project."

A major consideration during this portion of the rebuild was how to maintain the yacht's stability, which Damen Yachting addressed by lifting the exhaust systems due to the increased weight and reengineering several onboard systems.

According to Michel Coens, head of Refit & Services at Damen Yachting, special care was given to maintaining the yacht's original DNA, while still managing to rework the platform to meet the needs of the owner.

"It has been an incredible journey undertaking the refit of Moonstone in collaboration with everyone involved including the owners' team, Harrison Eidsgaard and our Amels Refit specialists," he said. "The scale and magnitude of this refit has been a team effort. We have reconfigured the layout and carried out major engineering reworks. Her transformation is stunning."

With an enhanced volume of 2,149GT, Moonstone comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests with additional space for two staff and 19 crew, including her captain, Nathan Milicich.
