The fifth hull in Damen Yachting’s Amels 60 superyacht series has been sold, with delivery due in spring 2024.

It comes after the yard announced the sale of the third superyacht in the 60 metre series during the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show last month. The sale of the fourth hull was announced in July 2021.

Speaking about the sale, Damen Yachting’s sales manager Jorrit Pilaar said: “We are delighted to confirm the sale of this Amels 60 and it’s a great pleasure to welcome a new Amels client to the fleet.”

He added that the early entrance of the owner would enable “a number of client customisations” alongside a fast delivery in less than three years.

Sporting exterior design by Espen Øino, the fifth hull in the series will feature a custom charcoal and white superstructure and lengthened sun and bridge decks. The 830GT custom interior meanwhile will be styled by a private designer chosen by the owner.

Accommodation on board is for a total of 12 guests and a crew of 13. Elsewhere, the yacht will feature a large swim platform, folding owner’s suite balcony and storage for a nine-metre tender on the foredeck. The hybrid propulsion package meanwhile will provide a top speed of 13 knots.
