Golden Yachts launches 36m O'Neiro

Greek shipyard Golden Yachts has announced the launch of its 36 metre superyacht O'Nerio.

The GRP hull started life at the Cantieri di Pisa shipyard as an Akhir 118 model before she was inherited by Golden Yachts and completed at its shipyard outside of Athens in Greece. The finished vessel has been designed by in-house architect Dimitra Agapitou who has added a "refined new vision" to the classic lines of its former shipyard's sporty Akhir line.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six cabins comprising a master suite, two twins, two doubles and an additional multi-use cabin with a sofa bed.

“The biggest challenge was to align the synchronous amenities a client would normally experience in a bigger yacht, within the determined spaces of a series GRP structure," the shipyard said.

"On this size of yacht, it is crucial to assure all the necessary inspection hatches and technical machinery but not limit the interior design and the luxurious atmosphere the clients are seeking. We worked closely together to achieve the contemporary aesthetics [the owners] dreamed of."

The interior palette is a combination of smokey taupe, mellow hues, with sage, pewter and touches of oyster, married with dark moka wooden floors, natural straw and marbles. Automation systems supplied by Crestron control the lighting and entertainment systems on board.

O’Neiro will be delivered in time for the Mediterranean cruising season in 2023. She will be the next delivery made by the shipyard following the 88 metre flagship Project X, which made its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show earlier this year.
