First Lazzara UHV 100 on track for delivery this year

25 January 2023• Written by Katia Damborsky

The first hull in Lazzara’s UHV (Ultra High Volume) 100 series is taking shape at the US-headquartered yard’s Antalya facilities. The 30.5-metre superyacht is being built on speculation with delivery due at the end of 2023.

Construction of the hull structure is already complete with the insulation, floating floors, piping and wiring in place. The next stage of construction will see the composite yacht fitted with major machinery, followed by the installation of the superstructure.

The UHV 100 follows in the footsteps of the UHV 87, which debuted in Cannes. Both yachts focus on high-volume layouts with a distinctive trompe l'oeil exterior that gives the illusion of an additional deck.

The yacht will have a beam of 7.2 metres

Key differences of the new model include the addition of a foredeck dip pool and a fifth cabin that allows for a total of 10 guests. The upper deck is home to the owner’s cabin, plus a saloon area and exterior aft deck that can be used privately by the owner. The yacht has a provisional top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots a draught of two metres.

According to Lazzara, every element of the yacht has been built with longevity and quality in mind. Particular attention has been paid to the wiring, hoses and ensuring a reduction in onboard noise and vibration. “Our building philosophy [is] not typically seen on yachts below 150 [feet] and provides owners and guests with continuous operation without disturbance,” said a representative of the yard.

The yacht is being built in epoxy and e-glass and will be fitted with twin Volvo Penta engines as standard. Buyers can choose between an additional two engine packages.

Alongside the UHV 87, Lazzara also has a 38-metre UHV 125 in the works.
