Lazzara Yachts announces sale of flagship explorer model

20 May 2025 • Written by Dea Jusufi

US-headquartered yard Lazzara Yachts has announced the sale of its largest yacht project to date, with construction scheduled to begin in early 2026.

The 49.5-metre model, known as the EX 165, is a sub-500GT explorer yacht built to comply with Lloyd's commercial classification for unrestricted navigation. Brokerage firm Mortlock Yachts acted as the client's representative in the sale and will manage the yacht's charter operations following delivery.

The yard's second-largest offering is the UHV 150 at 45.7 metres

The yard has confirmed a steel and aluminium construction, "custom options" for her owner and a sub-500GT layout that accommodates up to 12 guests and 11 crew. More details will be disclosed as the build progresses.

"The Lazzara EX 165 represents a new benchmark in expedition yacht engineering, expanding our range with enhanced capabilities for extended offshore cruising," added George Chirakadze, CEO of Lazzara Yachts.

This announcement builds on the sale of the Lazzara UHV 150, the yard's former flagship, just last year. Delivery on the 45.7-metre build is scheduled for the first half of 2027.
