The 116 metre new build Lurssen superyacht, known as Project Testarossa, has hit the water for the first time.
The yacht, which was sold by Moran Yacht & Ship in September last year, was launched at the yard's facility in Germany. It is the first time the yacht has been revealed since it was announced last year.
Both interior and exterior design come courtesy of Nuvolari Lenard in collaboration with Simone Feltrin. Delivery is slated for 2022.
While few further details are known about the 5,000GT yacht, with all designs being kept tightly under wraps, it is reported that the owner is an experienced yacht owner and repeat Moran client.
Project Testarossa marks the third collaboration between Lurssen and Nuvolari Lenard following the 86 metre Quattroelle and currently under construction 139 metre Redwood, the sales of which Moran was also involved with. As well as negotiating the build contract and compiling the technical specifications, Moran is overseeing the construction of Project Testarossa.
