Ocean Alexander has teased three superyacht models and a new explorer line ahead of this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The builder has previewed a new explorer series headed up by the 27 metre Explorer (27E) which combines “incredible interior volume” with “impressive exterior amenities”.

Key features include an extended aft deck of 225 square feet which serves as an exterior lounge space for the guests and storage space for a number of water toys and tenders.

Ocean Alexander’s Dan Mundy described the 27E as a “manageable and practical yacht.”

“The new 27E has unlimited potential to meet the expectations of the most discriminating buyer,” he added.

The second model is the 32 metre Legend (32L), a new addition to Ocean Alexander’s existing Legend series. The model will “retain the traditional lines and bow shape” of the series while boasting a number of “styling updates” courtesy of designer Evan K Marshall.

These include the use of more glass, lowered bulwarks and more natural light illuminating the interior, as well as the reorganisation of the master cabin.

Speaking about the model, Ocean Alexander’s Richard Allender said: “We had a daunting task to elevate an incredible performer in this yacht segment and all hands were on deck to execute it perfectly.

“I feel we have created a yacht that will exceed expectations and reach a broader audience to further strengthen Ocean Alexander as the premier luxury brand in yachting.”

Meanwhile the new 36 metre Legend will become the new flagship of the Legend series. The model grew from the first hull, which was a custom ordered yacht for a repeat Ocean Alexander owner that is currently being prepared for delivery.

Highlights include a five stateroom layout spread across three decks, plentiful outdoor entertainment areas, spacious accommodation and a generous beach club.
