UAE-based yard Romeo Marine has launched the first hull in its new Romeo 55 superyacht series, the 54.4-metre Al Hanem 2. The yacht for sale was launched from the yard's facilities in Dubai Maritime City and is now undergoing sea trials, with delivery scheduled for 2026.
Built to Lloyds's Classification and constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the Romeo 55 boasts a generous volume of 780GT, setting her apart within her size range. Both her design and naval architecture are owed to the Dubai shipyard, while the interiors have been penned by Pulina Exclusive Design Studio.
According to the shipyard, Al Hanem 2 was created as a "concept of light and space" for both relaxed family cruising and elegant entertaining, An emphasis on natural illumination and openness is evident in the floor-to-ceiling glass panels, lofty ceiling heights and indoor–outdoor connections, complemented by a skylight above the owner’s suite.
Among the yacht's standout features is a sculptural spiral staircase with a panoramic lift linking all decks. Her sundeck offers a pool, bar and barbecue area, creating a social hub for guests, while the upper deck can convert into a fully equipped gym. Accommodation is for 12 to 14 guests in six double cabins, the highlight of which is a private owner’s retreat fitted with bespoke finishes benefitting from direct natural light.
Powered by twin MTU 12V engines, the Romeo 55 reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots and offers a range of 5,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. Four zero-speed stabilisers guarantee smooth and stable passages.
Al Hanem 2 is asking $35,000,000 with Burgess.
