Italian shipyard Tankoa has announced the sale of the second 55 metre Sportiva 55, with delivery slated for 2024. The sale marks the second unit of this line sold in under one year.
The exterior of the series comes from Luca Dini, and condenses a variety of stand-out features into a sub-500 GT package. Highlights include an underwater Nemo lounge and a beach club with a swimming pool.
Interior design of hull two will be provided by the owner's team, and the yacht will have a six-cabin layout with five cabins on the lower deck and a master cabin on the main deck with a private hot tub. An elevator will serve all decks and a galley can be found on the main deck.
The hull has been sold to a young, European owner, according to Giuseppe Mazza, Tankoa's sales and marketing manager. “With 8 projects under construction for delivery between now and 2025, I am proud to see that the commercial strategy undertaken three years ago is bringing the expected results and we are on the right path to become one of the main players in the superyacht market," he added.
The last delivery for Tankoa was 50 metre superyacht Kinda, which debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022. “Despite all the political and economic uncertainty, 2022 has been a very fruitful time for Tankoa as the market is increasingly aware of what our boutique brand is all about,” said Tankoa's President, Eva Orsi.
