Turkish shipyard Sirena Yachts is celebrating a milestone moment with the launch of its 100th yacht. The yacht, from the yard's popular 26.8 metre Sirena 88 series, hit the water in December and will go on to appear at Boot Düsseldorf in January 2023.
The achievement comes after less than six years of production for Sirena. Their first yacht, a 20.7 metre Sirena 64, was launched in 2017.
Meanwhile, the Sirena 88 was brought to market in 2020. The new 88 is the eighth unit in the series, with a total of 13 on order and in the water.
The Sirena 88 is the flagship of the yard and is characterised by a GRP hull and carbon fibre superstructure. Naval architecture is completed by German Frers, while interiors have been headed up by Cor D. Rover. While compact, the design team has used the space wisely to give the yacht a five-cabin layout and a foredeck swimming pool with a glass floor segment that sends dappled light into the owner's suite below.

It is [a] testament to the quality of our build and finish, as well as our customer-oriented approach reflected in our design process.”
Genç added that they launched Sirena Yachts with a "radical-looking boat" but he believes this vision paid off, and reports that the yard has seen "tremendous growth in record time".
The milestone comes just months after the shipyard announced its first superyacht range – that will include 35 metre, 42 metre and a 50 metre models – and builds on the popularity of the Sirena 88.
