New Renderings Revealed of First 49 Metre Sunreef Catamaran

Sunreef Yachts has revealed new renderings of its first 49 metre catamaran motor yacht.

The 49 metre multihull is currently under construction at the yard's Gdansk facilities and is scheduled for delivery in late 2021. Imperial Yachts will act as advisor and represent the client throughout the build process.

Marrying radical naval design and engineering, the concept incorporates vast outdoor living areas thanks to the yacht’s broad 17 metre beam. The yacht will be operated by 17 crew while luxurious accommodation is provided for up to 10 guests.

Founder and president of Sunreef, Francis Lapp, said: “An exciting journey begins for us as we team up with Imperial Yachts on this fantastic project. With this new concept we engage in an ambitious endeavour to build a yacht that the industry has never seen before.”

Twin 3,400hp diesel engines and a fuel capacity of 90,000 litres will enable a range of over 5,000 nautical miles.
