€8M price cut on Austal motor yacht Serenity
by Malcolm Maclean
The 72 metre motor yacht Serenity, listed for sale by Konstantinos Ladas at SSH Maritime, has received a price reduction of €8,000,000.
Originally built in aluminium by Australian yard Austal to a design by Tillberg Design, Serenity was delivered in 2003 as a mini cruise ship and rebuilt as a private superyacht in 2017. Accommodation is for 30 guests in 15 cabins comprising a master suite, six VIP suites, 5 doubles and two twins. All guest cabins aboard this yacht for sale have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities, while the crew quarters sleep 31 staff.
On her main deck, adjacent to the aft deck is a full beam formal dining area with a central wet bar and this area is surrounded by panoramic windows allowing for incredible natural light while providing spectacular views. From here, a hall leads to a guest foyer, providing access to the cinema room.
Plentiful and well-conceived deck spaces include a main deck restaurant arranged around a central buffet with a covered outdoor dining/relaxation area on the aft deck. An enclosed lounge bar and entertainment area are on the upper deck and for outdoor entertainment there is a Jacuzzi spa and bar area on the large sun deck and a four-person spa and built-in seating on the foredeck.
Her top speed is 17 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 2,000 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from twin 1,073hp MTU 16V2000M66 diesel engines.
Serenity is now asking €45,000,000.
