Heesen superyacht Septimus for sale
by Malcolm Maclean
Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Heesen to a design by Omega Architects, she was delivered in 2011 as the first in the yard’s 50m series and went on to win Neptune trophies at both the 2012 World Superyacht Awards and the 2012 ShowBoats Design Awards. A sophisticated interior by Remi Tessier accommodates 10 guests in five well-appointed cabins.
Previously named Satori, her guest accommodation consists of a full beam master suite, two full beam VIP suites and two twin cabins, all with full en suite bathroom facilities. Only privately used and immaculately maintained, her impressive speed is complemented by eco-friendly fuel usage. On the lower deck is a stern garage that connects to the engine room, the four guest cabins and crew quarters in the bow.
The main deck saloon of this yacht for sale has comfortable seating on an open ended U-shaped set of sofas in front of two high gloss teak tables and a pair of leather and stainless steel arm chairs at the open end, while forward is a circular formal dining saloon. Outdoors, Septimus offers several areas for relaxation and entertaining, including a 20 metre sun deck offering a custom Jacuzzi, sunbathing terrace, seating area and a full wet bar. Twin Caterpillar 3516C-DITA engines give her a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 14 knots.
Available to view at the Monaco Yacht Show, Septimus is asking €27.9 million.
