The 47.5-metre Mengi Yay motor yacht Serenissima I has received a €1,000,000 price drop to her sales listing with Ed Dickinson of Northrop & Johnson.
Serenissima I was recently delivered in August 2024 as the first unit from the Italian yard's sub-500GT series, constructed in steel and aluminium to a design (both exterior and interior) by Italian firm Nuvolari Lenard.
She was commissioned by an experienced owner who sought the deck and interior space of a larger vessel in a "Med-friendly" package. As such, the custom build is equipped with a range of standout features including a lift, a rare private owner's deck and a "gentleman's lounge" with a cinema, drop-down balcony and a walk-in wine cellar with a retro-red Berkel flywheel meat slicer.

The remaining accommodation is found on the lower deck, comprising four guest cabins - two of which can be configured as doubles or opened into one full-beam VIP suite, thanks to a movable partition. There are five further cabins for a crew of nine.
Nuvolari Lenard has created a stylish, contemporary and "airy" interior on board. The traditional main saloon, located aft, is decorated in a warm yet neutral colour palette, accented by eye-catching details including a glass golden-hued light fitting above the dining table seating 10.
Decorative details are a continuity found throughout the motor yacht. The gentleman's lounge, for example, is decorated in neutral colours with hints of blue, while eyes are drawn to the glass-encased wine cellar with onyx marble walls. Another interior highlight is the owner’s hobby area with a workbench and tools, which can be found in the lazarette.

The sundeck, which is "one of the largest in this category of yachts", is host to a forward Jacuzzi, sheltered dining for 10, sunpads and a cosy firepit aft. The elongated foredeck is usually flush and perfect for sun loungers, yet it can be transformed into a sports lover's paradise with its very own boxing ring.
Additional standout features on board include walk-around decks, two tender garages, and a generous beach club-style swim platform. On the main deck aft, guests will also find a classic 1961 Riva Ariston tender displayed like a piece of art.
With naval architecture by Dutch studio Van Oossanen Naval Architects, the yacht's stable and efficient hull shape allows for a range of 4,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots.
The 499GT RINA classed motor yacht for sale is powered by twin Caterpillar engines, capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots. Key specs include a draught of 2.65 metres and a beam of 8.85 metres.
Serenissima I is now asking €33,950,000.
