Built in 1992 by Dutch superyacht yard Royal Huisman to a design by German Frers, she's a fast cutter rigged custom sloop with family trips to Alaska and Antarctica under her belt plus a trophy cabinet groaning under the weight of podium finishes in several superyacht regattas. Accommodation includes a large open plan saloon with an inlaid teak dining table creating a comfortable family room. The owner's suite has a double berth with a writing desk and en suite bathroom with stall shower while two guest cabins come with over and under berths.
Metolius has had major refits in 2005, 2008-2011 and 2012. Notable refit projects included painting the hulls and deck in 2009 and 2010, replacing the standing rigging in 2009, replacing the teak deck in 2011 and rebuilding the main engine in 2012.
