1. Special One
Builder: Royal Huisman
Length: 52m
Billed by her captain as a “sportfisher on steroids,” the 52-metre Special One takes the top spot and is the largest sportfishing superyacht. Delivered in 2024 by Royal Huisman in collaboration with sportfishing specialists Bush & Nobel, and Vripack, responsible for her design, she made her global debut at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show, turning heads thanks to an unmistakable six-deck profile of a long bow, high bulwarks, and a low, uncluttered fishing cockpit.
Commissioned by a passionate angler, Special One was a no-compromise gamefisher complete with the latest gear and a 12-metre-high tuna tower. Yet she still delivers family-friendly comfort, style, and entertainment throughout her credentials, with features such as a foredeck cinema and a DJ booth. Performance is equally impressive as the sportfisher's lightweight aluminium construction enables speeds in excess of 30 knots, and she is also capable of running on HVO fuel, which, according to her designers, can reduce emissions by over 90 per cent.
