The global authority in superyachting
6 of the best boat shows
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, (or FLIBS as it is affectionately called) claims to be the largest boat show in the world: it covers more than 278,000 square metres of space over seven locations. Visitors to the show can expect a selection of the best new superyachts in Fort Lauderdale, numerous luxury yachts for sale and exotic car displays. There are 1,500 boats on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and more than $4 billion worth of boats and kit.
Hosted in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the self-styled “superyacht capital of the world", this show benefits from its beachfront location, offering a laid-back vibe. The superyacht portion of FLIBS has grown in recent years and offers a number of VIP boat show experiences, while the show's selection of super-fast tenders is also exceptional.
Antigua Charter Yacht Show
The Antigua Charter Yacht Show gives luxury yacht charter clients the chance to check out the best yachts for their summer holidays (even though it’s mainly a business-to-business event). And did we mention it’s in Antigua in December? A lovely time to visit the Caribbean islands.
Visitors can find the perfect charter yacht — or exhibit their superyacht in the show to get more charter bookings.
Dubai International Boat Show
A unique schedule and stunning cityscape are only side attractions: the Dubai International Boat Show is the Middle East’s most important boat show.
Unlike most boat shows that start at the crack of dawn, the Dubai boat show opens in the afternoon and goes onto in the night. It makes sense given the hot desert weather, but it also creates a nice leisurely pace for this rapidly growing yacht show.
The show seems to be growing every year, with organisers reporting that this year the five-day event hosted 28,273 visitors in 2015, which was a 19 per cent increase from the 2014 Dubai boat show.
Singapore Yacht Show
Rapid growth has given this show credibility as a must-attend in Asia, with yachts the main — but not the only — attraction. The Singapore Yacht Show is hosted at the beautiful Oneº 15 Marina Club and beyond the superyachts, it features luxury brands, supercars, timepieces and jewellery.
Entertainment is a huge part of the show as well, with glamorous parties and nightlife a big draw to attending this ever more popular boat show.

Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show
A lovely marina, nearby golf, shops and restaurants add to the charm of the four-day Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show held in May on the Gold Coast of Australia.
Running for nearly 30 years, the boat show features everything from kayaks to superyachts, all packed into four days and one picturesque location.
Monaco Yacht Show
Herculean for both its location, in Port Hercules, and its ability to pack ever more superyachts into a compact harbour, the Monaco Yacht Show is still the place to be seen and see big boats each September.
The best and biggest superyacht launches of the year will be found at the Monaco Yacht Show, including the world's must-see new yachts and some of the top brokerage yachts in Monaco. You can also find perfect tender at the Monaco show and get inspired by some of the top yacht concepts at MYS.
On land there is plenty to see too, with the 2016 event adding a Car Deck, exhibiting a selection of the finest luxury cars at the Monaco Yacht Show. Visitors can also discover the top interior design brands on display at the Monaco Yacht Show and the top toys and submarines for kitting out your superyacht's toy box.
