The concept has a "family-cruise feel" while maintaining its explorer credentials

Lontano was penned by young designers Giulia Bassan and Alessandro Benedetti, who coined the concept as their master’s degree thesis project in La Spezia.

The designers wanted a "functional and elegant" interior

Sporting a striking exterior inspired by military vessels, the concept is designed for long-range nautical expeditions while still maintaining a “family-cruise feel”, with a “functional and elegant” interior.

Toys abound on Lontano – the concept is equipped with an amphibious ATV, a submarine and a helicopter that can land and refuel on the certified helipad found at the stern. Below sit two nine-metre tenders deployable with a crane, alongside Jet Skis and scuba diving equipment.
