The latest unit from Dutch shipyard Zeelander's flagship yacht model, the 23.9-metre Zeelander 8, is nearing completion and on track for delivery in February 2026.
This follows the news in December last year, where the yard announced the sale of two units from the Cor D. Rover-designed series, with both yachts to be delivered to the Mediterranean.
This unit has been designed for an experienced owner who will operate it personally without a crew (though he will maintain the option to hire a captain when desired) and cruise the South of France.
The first hull, Silver Dawn, was launched in October 2024 with a Porsche rhodium silver finish, yet the yard has unveiled that the latest unit will be the first ever Zeelander yacht with a white pearlescent hull and deck, accented with gold and black bootstripes.
Other custom additions include gold-accent details, "glossy" teak flooring and a suite of dedicated dive equipment and water toys.
Dubbed "whisper-quiet" by the yard, the Zeelander 8 is recognised for its quiet cruising operations, which produce less than 65dBA even at a full speed of 30 knots. Power is from triple Volvo IPS 1350 engines, delivering a range of approximately 600 nautical miles and up to 3,000 nautical miles at seven knots.
The latest hull is said to represent "a significant evolution" of the model, with a bespoke deck layout in addition to her custom materials and detailing. Tailored to the owner's lifestyle, the yacht will feature a breakfast bar in the main saloon (the galley repositioned for improved flow) as well as an enlarged L-shaped seating area and sunpad on the aft deck. Five cabins below deck offer accommodation for 10.
The new build will be equipped with a Williams Jet Tender 395, two Porsche Design Seabobs and six diving gear sets, all housed within a dedicated tender garage.
Model highlights include generous main deck lounging and dining areas, alongside a lower-deck midship master suite that offers 360-degree panoramic views and more than 2.1 metres of headroom. A "targa" sunroof and retractable aft windows bridge the gap between indoor-outdoor living.
