French shipyard Fountaine Pajot has launched a new brand dedicated to the build of larger yacht models. Fountaine Pajot Yachts will concentrate on bigger LOAs, and, according to the yard, has been "designed for customers and owners seeking a new lifestyle".
First announced at this year's Monaco Yacht Show, the yard also unveiled two new yacht models from the brand, including a 35-metre catamaran, with the first hull already in-build and scheduled for delivery in early 2028.
"With Fountaine Pajot Yachts, we are taking another step forward," said the brand's deputy CEO, Romain Motteau. "The high-end market is witnessing growing demand, driven by owners and future customers with increasingly demanding expectations. Our ambition is to respond to this with iconic yachts, featuring signature design, advanced customisation and a sustainable vision of sailing."
Best known for building sub-24-metre sailing and motor catamarans for over 20 years, Fountaine Pajot sought to expand into the superyacht segment with the new brand. It plans to deliver two yachts per year and has already begun construction on a new shipyard in La Rochelle dedicated to the build of larger models.
According to the yard, Fountaine Pajot Yachts places "discreet and sustainable luxury" at its core, with designs focused on fluid onboard movement, seamless indoor-outdoor living, quiet comfort and advanced customisation.
"This is a natural evolution that confirms our desire to structure our offering, strengthen our presence and prepare for the future," Motteau continued. "The announcement of the new model, the FPY 110S, is part of this dynamic and perfectly translates our desire to assert the brand in the high-end market for large yachts."
Measuring 35 metres and spread over three decks, the FPY 110S will become the largest offering from the French yard and the new flagship of Fountaine Pajot Yachts.
Alongside its size, the catamaran offers a level of customisation that is "unprecedented" in the history of the Fountaine Pajot Group, intending to be reactive to demanding clients and presenting "an approach where space adapts to desires".
Designed by French studio Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, model highlights include 600 square metres of living space, a "duplex" owner’s suite with direct access to the water and the main social spaces, and a panoramic indoor-outdoor main saloon with 360-degree views from "lateral butterfly windows". Outside, the exterior platforms "unfold like origami".
Several layout configurations are offered with the model, including an owner’s suite and guest cabins with private bathrooms and a crew area accommodating seven. The FPY 110S is also available in a motor yacht version under the name FPY 110, which also boasts a sundeck "spa lounge" and sunbathing area. Key specs include a 14.8-metre beam and a 2.8-metre draft.
Fountaine Pajot Yachts' portfolio also includes the smaller 22-metre FPY 70S and FPY 70 models (the second new model unveiled at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show), the 18-metre Samana 59, the 24-metre Thíra 80, and the 24-metre Power 80.
