Dutch shipyard Moonen Yachts has announced that construction has begun on the tenth unit from its 122 Martinique motor yacht series.

The 37.4-metre new build, known as YN208, will take shape at the yard's facilities in Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands and is scheduled for delivery in June 2027. The project is currently listed for sale with Richard Gray and Matthew Stone of IYC, both of whom also serve as Moonen Yachts’ global representatives.

YN208 is listed for sale asking €27,000,000

Long-standing collaborator Rene van de Velden is behind the exterior lines of the 122 Martinique line, which began in 2018 with the World Superyacht Award-winning Brigadoon, and features long-range cruising capability, a steel displacement hull and an aluminium superstructure.

Her 345GT interiors are courtesy of Vripack and are described as “refined and owner-focused”, with emphasis on indoor-outdoor flow - another signature hallmark of the Martinique models. Renderings showcase bright and airy spaces with a warm, refined and somewhat metallic colour palette.

“We've created an interior that honours life at sea with American pine woods, Emperador marbles and the finest of Italian leather,” explained Marnix Hoekstra, co-creative director at Vripack. “It’s designed to ignite the imagination and to show what is possible when materials, colour schemes and flow of space is used to reflect clients’ specific needs and aspirations for their life on the water.”

Accommodation on board comprises 12 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck with 180-degree views, two VIP guest cabins, and two additional cabins on the lower deck. Crew quarters are available for seven.

A 65-square-metre sundeck offers lounging and dining, with a sheltered bar and the option of a custom whirlpool. Meanwhile, closer to the water, there is a generously extended 20-square-metre swim platform with hydraulic Z-lift swim stairs. A hull-side tender garage also accommodates a 6-metre tender, and the foredeck can carry up to two Jet Skis.

The 122 Martinique model offers flexible technical capabilities, including worldwide shore power connectivity and dual US and European power outlets. Powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines, the yacht will offer a 4,000 nautical mile range at 10 knots and can top out at 17 knots.

Once delivered, YN208 will join an existing fleet of 122 Martinique models. Ad Astra is the latest launch and seventh hull in the series, delivered in October 2025. BOATPro amounts three 122 Martinique yachts as currently under construction.
