The Netherlands-based superyacht builder Holland Jachtbouw (HJB) has relaunched the sailing superyacht This Is Us (ex-Skylge) after an extensive seven-month refit.

The 41.83m aluminium-hull schooner was designed inside and out by Andre Hoek and built by HJB. She has logged many miles since her launch in 2006, cruising the globe with her owners on board and being chartered extensively as well. The recent refit included a complete hull repaint and maintenance of her keel, bulb and lifting keel box. The main engine, generator, water maker, hydraulic pumps, and her navigation and communication equipment received full service, along with all winches and safety equipment found on board.

This Is US also had her teak deck fully replaced and all varnish restored on the exterior and interior wood work. Other interior updates including new flooring, lighting, updating the wall and ceiling panels, reupholstering all the seating and installing new blinds.

New stonework has been fitted out in the galley, bar and bathrooms to give This Is Us a fresh, modern look. She also benefits from new audio/visual equipment.
