Sanlorenzo delivers SD122 and sells 46Steel in Hong Kong

Sanlorenzo tell us that they have just delivered its first SD122 to her owner in Hong Kong, and has sold a 46Steel to another owner in Hong Kong.

Lady Cecilia, the SD122, has a semi-displacement composite hull and was shipped from Genoa on board of a huge cargo ship, arriving in Hong Kong 39 days later. But Lady Cecilia is not the first Sanlorenzo motor yacht to land in China and in the Far East: in the early 1990s more than 20 Sanlorenzo 30-metre yachts (the legendary SL100 model) were sold and delivered to Hong Kong. Today, those made-to-measure gems – each one built according to the requests and the style of every single owner – can still be seen at the local marina.

The arrival of Lady Cecilia in Hong Kong represents another important result for the Italian shipyard in terms of sales network growth towards the Far East and the so called “emerging markets”, where Sanlorenzo has recently sold a 46Steel (a 46-meter steel tri-deck displacement motor yacht) to a Hong Kong owner that will be delivered in 2014.
