Italian shipyard ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has announced that construction has begun on the second unit of its Viper 130 yacht model under speculation. Delivery of the 38.8-metre new build is scheduled for March 2028.
The model was first unveiled in May 2024, with Italian designer Fulvio De Simoni entrusted with the exterior and interior design. Construction comprises a planing composite and carbon-fibre hull, with naval engineering developed in-house by the shipyard.
The on-spec build will follow the first from the series, which was sold to an American client and is currently under construction at Palumbo’s shipyard in Ancona. The first unit is scheduled to launch this summer and will make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.

On the lower level, an aft beach area provides direct access to the sea, with a transformer platform featuring a swim ladder and a gangway. Two steps lead to a large sunpad facing aft and a lounge area with sofas, a coffee table and twin side balconies to expand the space over the water. The cockpit is complete with a third level dedicated to al fresco dining, fitted with a 12-seater table.
An aft galley, paired with a bar, creates a "scenographic" effect and can be separated by a retractable darkened glass panel - opened for show cooking and informal parties or closed for maximum guest privacy. For those in favour of a more private onboard experience, the galley can also be moved forward of the main deck in a second layout.
Inside, the main deck features a second combined bar-galley and a bright, light-filled saloon furnished with semi-circular sofas, armchairs and a round 10-seater table. To increase the interior volume, the forward side deck has been kept only on the port side, while an opening balcony amidships near the saloon ensures views are still a priority.
The wheelhouse is also found on the main deck, while the sundeck includes the second helm station, two large sunpads at the stern and a lounge area with sofas, an L-shaped bar and a 12-seater table. Forward, the bow area offers another relaxation space, host to a circular pool surrounded by sunpads and sofas.
Accommodation is for 10 guests across five en suite cabins, all situated on the lower deck. One of these is the owner's cabin, which has a double bathroom with a large central shower. Further quarters sleep a crew of six (including the captain) across three en suite cabins.
Power for the Viper 130 is from triple MAN engines paired with two waterjets and an MJP booster, providing an impressive top speed of 35 knots. Key numbers include a beam of 7.85 metres and a shallow draught of 1.55 metres.
BOATPro amounts the shipyard to have 13 yachts currently under construction or on order, including its 100-metre flagship, which was signed during the Monaco Yacht Show last year.
