Final 80m Bilgin 263 superyacht Al Reem delivered

The 80.1-metre Al Reem – the third and final unit in Bilgin Yachts' Bilgin 263 series – has now been delivered, with BOATPro reporting the superyacht cruising in Egypt. Al-Reem was sold in 2022 to a buyer represented by Bluewater Yachting, and will make her grand debut at this year's Monaco Yacht Show.

The build was previously known as Project Silence and builds on the success of the first unit, Tatiana, which made her global debut at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show as the largest yacht ever built in Turkey. The second unit, Leona, was delivered in 2023 and won at the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards for her outstanding exterior design. Al Reem offers almost 100GT more volume – including 20 per cent more exterior decking – and a larger, more striking mast than her predecessors.

All three hulls in the 263 series share a slender profile created by Unique Yacht Design with interiors by British studio H2 Yacht Design. Al Reem features a foredeck crafted entirely from teak, alongside a superstructure designed in "a striking combination of metallic grey-white and black".

The superyacht also benefits from a fresh new layout with larger living areas and a number of technical refinements, including a longer upper deck and an extra covered area at the stern.

She was launched in December 2024

The owner's deck, for example, is positioned on the main deck for more privacy and designed with 300-degree views and an outdoor terrace and Jacuzzi area. The remaining guest accommodation is comprised of two VIPs on the main deck and three guest cabins on the lower deck. An elevator connects all decks.

According to Jonny Horsfield, founder of H2 Yacht Design, Al Reem features a "light and modern" interior that makes use of a textured and warm palette. "The client admired what we had created on the interior of Tatiana, though the layout and design [is] suitably different." Materials used include matt timber, cream leather wall panels, silk carpets and marble feature walls with "unique veining patterns".

On the technical side, Al Reem has a new ventilation system and an increased generator capacity. The yacht can cruise at a maximum speed of 19 knots powered by a pair of 2,560 kW engines with an economical range of 6,000 nautical miles.

According to BOATPro, Bilgin Yachts has 12 yachts on order or actively under construction. This includes eight units in its 52-metre Bilgin 170 series, with the first hull completing its technical launch in February 2024.
