Exclusive BOATPro data revealed a surge of new listings in August, with 87 yachts adding a total of €1.4 billion to the brokerage market. This figure is more than double that of the value of new listings in July (€507.6 million), highlighting a wave of superyacht owners eager to secure listings ahead of the busy upcoming show season.
The steep rise in yachts for sale during August also comes following the news that US President Donald Trump signed the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" into law in July, with superyacht sellers potentially seeking to act upon the favourable bonus depreciation rules.

The significant growth in the value of listings last month can mostly be attributed to the 100.8-metre Kusch Yachts superyacht I Dynasty, which joined the market at an asking price of €240 million with Merle Wood & Associates and SuperYachtsMonaco.
Other big-ticket additions included Oceanco's iconic 81.3-metre superyacht Alfa Nero (asking €88.5 million), which was listed for sale on the same day as Dunya Yachts' 72.5-metre flagship Axioma (asking €65.5 million), both represented by Northrop & Johnson. Meanwhile, the 55.2-metre award-winning Feadship, Somnium, was another notable new listing, asking €62.5 million with Camper & Nicholsons and Feadship Resale.

Lürssen's 106.1-metre Amadea also hit the market in August, listed for auction with National Maritime Services and Fraser following a three-year high-stakes legal saga surrounding her ownership. Her auction is under a sealed bid and set to close next week, on September 10.

Comparatively, BOATPro data from August 2024 showed only 15 sales at a total value of €111.2 million, therefore also revealing notable growth in sales year-on-year for August. The aforementioned figures for August 2025 suggest a healthy and robust market ahead of the upcoming yacht show season, despite the month usually being quiet for sales before the September show "frenzy".
The largest sale of August was Abeking & Rasmussen's 78.4-metre superyacht Amaryllis, with an asking price of €84 million. She was exchanged in a deal between Burgess, Merle Wood & Associates and Moravia Yachting, having been on the market since June 2023.
Other sales in August saw the 53.8-metre Delta Marine motor yacht Helios 3 leave the market in a deal between Fraser and Burgess (asking $28,9 million), alongside the new 41.8-metre Custom Line Navetta 42 motor yacht Toys Ahoy, which was sold with Allied Marine and Smart Yachts (asking $22.9 million). Five new-build vessels were also sold last month, including the first Tureddi Yachts superyacht, the 36-metre Azzurra.
When it comes to price drops, superyacht sellers trimmed a total of €41.1 million from asking prices during August, with 69 yachts receiving price reductions ahead of the attractive show season. The largest deduction was €3 million, taken from the 52-metre Rossinavi motor yacht Florentia, now asking €41,000,000 with Ocean Independence.
