The 45.72 metre motor yacht Utopia III has been listed for sale by David Wiest at RJC Yacht Sales.
Designed by Setzer Yacht Architects, Utopia III was built in aluminium by US yard Trinity Yachts to ABS class and delivered in 1999 as the first in the yard’s 150’ series and most recently upgraded in 2018. Interior designer Dee Robinson chose rich African makore joinery on the main deck and lighter American cherry wood joinery on the lower deck, accommodating 10 guests in five cabins. The master suite is full beam and there are also two doubles and two twins, and all cabins on this yacht for sale come with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities.
There is ample seating in the main saloon with two large sofas and a loveseat. On the forward bulkhead there is an entertainment centre with a Samsung television screen while going forward to starboard is a formal dining room with a large burl mahogany dining table and 10 custom dining chairs. Built-in cabinetry in the dining saloon provides ample storage for exquisite china and dinnerware.
Upstairs, the sky lounge features an L-shaped sofa and seating to starboard and a full bar with marble top forward to port. Double entry doors open out to the upper aft deck with two oval teak tables, bench seating and wicker style chairs making this area ideal for al fresco entertaining and dining. Her top speed is 23 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 6,500 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from two 2,250hp Caterpillar 3512-B-DITA diesel engines.
