MATSU for sale

The 36.5m (119.6ft) MATSU is a metallic-grey hulled composite motor yacht constructed to RINA classification by Italian shipyard ISA Yachts and delivered in 2007. This 235GT sleek performance yacht, capable of a thrilling top speed of 32 knots, has exteriors by Vallicelli & Co and restful earth-toned interiors by the celebrated Cristiano Gatto. Built to MCA compliance for commercial operation and with a draft of just 1.5m (4.9ft), she is currently used privately (EU VAT Paid) and she is tailor-made for Mediterranean island-hopping in style.

Her flybridge, huge for a yacht of her size, has a helm station forward to starboard and a sliding door leads down into the wheelhouse. A fully equipped bar to port lies opposite a raised sunpad, beneath which there is plumbing installed for a jacuzzi to be fitted, and under the hardtop are two lounge seating areas. On the aft deck is a very large sunpad, Teppanyaki grill and a DJ station for entertaining guests. Steps either side lead down to the main deck.

Aft is a very large sunpad and there is club seating around a circular table partially shaded by the overhang. Steps port and starboard lead down to a good-sized swim platform, with a sturdy central passerelle, and walkaround sidedecks lead forward to a double sunpad on the foredeck.

Curved glass doors slide back to reveal an interior with pale and dark matt-finished woods, a cream leather deckhead and cream-coloured caulking in the strip-planked deck. The main saloon is ideally suited to entertainment. The formal dining area is aft, with excellent views through the open doors, adjacent fully equipped bar for refreshment and opposing lounge seating forward where guests can enjoy the bulkhead mounted TV.

MATSU’s split-level owner’s suite, very spacious and with plenty of natural light through picture windows, is forward on the main deck and features an island double berth with sofa seating with vanity table and storage either side. Steps lead down to a circular jacuzzi, his-and-hers basins, heads and a walk-in wardrobe. On the lower deck, a full-beam VIP suite, double cabin and twin cabin complete versatile, family-friendly accommodation for up to eight guests in four cabins. She also sleeps up to six crew.

Three 2,400hp MTU diesel engines give her a top speed of 32 knots, a cruising speed of 22 knots and a maximum range of 550nm. Her large tender garage is forward of the engine room on the lower deck and the 6m (19.7ft) Castoldi tender is launched through a shell door to starboard. She also has two side garages for jetskis and additional storage space on her aft deck for SeaBob and inflatable toys.
