Inside the star yacht of Below Deck Mediterranean season 10

2 September 2025 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Television network Bravo will begin airing season ten of Below Deck Mediterranean on 29 September, a Below Deck spin-off that follows a yacht crew over a tumultuous eight-week charter season. This latest instalment will begin in Barcelona – the fizzing cultural capital of Catalonia – and sees Captain Sandy Yawn return to the helm alongside chief stew (and fan favourite) Aesha Scott.

But the real star of the show this season is Bravado, the 44.9-metre Reymond Langton-designed motor yacht that will host two months of drama on the high seas. Expect messy "boatmances", demanding charter guests and onboard mishaps – as well as a surprise pregnancy announcement, if rumours are to be believed...

BOAT takes a look inside.

When was Bravado built?

Bravado was delivered by German yard Abeking & Rasmussen in 2004. The steel-hulled yacht is said to "combine German engineering excellence with sophisticated design" and has had the same owner since 2015.

What are Bravado's luxury features?

For a charter yacht, the sundeck is usually the first port of call. Bravado's doesn't disappoint either – shaped for socialising with its Jacuzzi, barbecue, extended settee and shaded, al fresco dining. Indoor and outdoor cinema screens, a formal dining room and a host of watertoys (including an inflatable slide, a Below Deck staple) complete the list of leisure amenities onboard.

Her interiors are owed to Thomas Kolakovic and Bizzozero Cassina Architects, combining modern artwork and sculpture with a cream and velveteen grey colour palette for a cool, contemporary feel. The occasional pop of colour brightens Bravado's living spaces, as seen with the skylounge tables (designed in a brilliant shade of plum) and floral table decorations.

What about accommodation?

Her private gym features a rowing machine, exercise bike, Kenesis fitness wall and a pilates bed

Bravado can accommodate up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the bridge deck, complete with a private gym. A full-beam VIP stateroom is located on the main deck, while two double cabins and two twin cabins can be found on the lower deck.

The superyacht can also accommodate a dedicated crew of 11 on board – soon to be showcased by the Bravo show.

What is Bravado's technical performance?

Twin 1,080hp MTU 16V 2000 M60 diesels power Bravado to a top speed of 14 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a transatlantic range. She comes equipped with modern navigation systems, including a newly upgraded bridge with ECDIS and a captain's cabin conveniently located behind the wheelhouse. Meanwhile, an air-conditioned engine control room and insulated generator room are designed for quiet and comfortable crew operation.

Which were the previous Below Deck Mediterranean yachts?

The Wellesley (season five) was the largest yacht to star in the Mediterranean franchise

The largest superyacht to have starred in Below Deck Mediterranean is the 56.1-metre The Wellesley, which featured in season five. The Oceanco build is owned by hotelier Khalid Affara and named after his renowned Art Deco hotel in Knightsbridge, London. A charter favourite, The Wellesley has the same resplendent interiors as her namesake, from the 1920s-style guest cabins to the Arabescèto Corchia marble and Hermès amenities in the bathrooms.
