Bering Yachts has announced the move of two 26.2-metre B80 hulls from the shipyard in Istanbul to the brand’s facility in Antalya, Turkey, for outfitting ahead of their scheduled launch.
Both yachts’ construction milestone is a testimony to the popularity of these steel trawler B80 explorer models, according to Bering. “The B80 yacht is known for its “superyacht-level quality, space, and comfort," said a statement from the yard.
As Bering’s longest under 24-metre load line, the B80 hosts accommodation for up to ten guests across a GT of 220 and a beam of 7.8-metres. The B80 model will be among “the roomiest and rangiest yachts in her class.”
The Bering 80 model is powered by twin Cummins engines, resulting in a 5,000 nautical range cruising at 8.5 knots and a top speed of 10.5 knots.
The two hulls join a further three units currently in build.
