The 10 biggest Feadship yachts

First founded in 1949, Dutch yard Feadship has become known as one of the most premium superyacht builders in the world. Now the yard has a global superyacht fleet of 216 superyachts averaging 51.15 metres in length with an average 799GT interior volume. BOAT rounds up the top 10 biggest yachts ever built by Feadship.

Anna

Length: 110m

The largest Feadship ever built and the current flagship of the Dutch yard is the 110 metre superyacht Anna, delivered in 2018. Michael Leach Design handled the general arrangement, the exterior design and styled the interior in collaboration with the owner’s personal New York decorator Brian McCarthy Inc, while naval architecture was penned in-house by De Voogt. Key features include a dramatic architectural curve linking the main and upper decks, multiple balconies and a large funnel and mast. Elsewhere, Anna is equipped with a bespoke diesel-electric propulsion system and a landing pad for a tilt-rotor aircraft.

Symphony

Feadship’s 101.5 metre superyacht Symphony first hit the water in 2015 as the largest yacht built by the Dutch yard at the time. With an exterior design by Tim Heywood, Symphony features a standout dark blue hull and a six-metre contraflow pool. Accommodation inside the 3,000GT interior is for a total of 20 guests while other on board amenities include an observation lounge, gym, beauty salon and massage room.

Moonrise

Length: 99.95m

Delivered in 2020, the 99.95m Feadship superyacht Moonrise sports exterior design penned by Studio De Voogt with key exterior details such as a superstructure clad in glass, long hull windows and a vertical bow. Elsewhere, the yacht includes a helipad on the foredeck and a large beach club aft, complete with a gym and wellness area. The Rémi Tessier Design-penned 3,945GT interior meanwhile features accommodation for a total of 16 guests in eight staterooms as well as “high-end crew accommodation” for the 32 staff living and working on board.

Madame Gu

Described as “sleek and quick” by its Dutch builder, the 99 metre Madame Gu was first delivered in 2013 and promptly scooped two World Superyacht Awards. Designed inside and out by Winch Design, the yacht is powered by four MTU 20V4000M73 engines for a top speed of 16 knots. Accommodation inside the 2,991GT interior is for a total of 12 guests.

Faith

Length: 96.5m

Delivered in 2017, the 96.5m superyacht Faith features a flared bow and curved exterior designed by British design studio RWD. Key features include a games deck on the bow and a helicopter landing pad and a dedicated hangar large enough to accommodate a Bell 429 WG helicopter. Elsewhere, Faith features a swimming pool made of glass panels that form the ceiling of the beach club below. The 2,999GT interior meanwhile was designed by Parisian studio Chahan Design and features accommodation for a total of 18 guests and 32 crew members.

Bliss

Length: 94.75m

A new entry in 2021, the 94.75 metre Bliss features a modern classic exterior designed by Studio De Voogt in collaboration with the owner and is certified to cruise the polar regions. Accompanied by a fleet of tenders and toys, Bliss is equipped with a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system providing a top speed of 17 knots with a range of 6,000 nautical miles. Other features include high ceilings and nine guest cabins inside a 2,999GT interior.

Viva

Another 2021 entry, the 94 metre Viva features exterior design penned by Azure Yacht Design and Studio De Voogt with an “open beach-house style” 2,999GT interior designed by Peter Marino. Commissioned by a former charterer of Feadship yachts, Viva is an eco-focused yacht and features a hybrid propulsion system, as well as a waste treatment plant and heat recovering systems.

Lady S

Length: 93m

Delivered in 2019, the 93 metre Lady S was commissioned by “experienced owners” who worked closely with Michael Leach Design on the exterior. The 2,999GT interior meanwhile was designed by Reymond Langton and has been described as a “beautiful and contemporary jewellery box” by the yard. Other features include a two-deck IMAX cinema, a fully certified helipad and a range of sports facilities for golf, basketball, volleyball and football.

Royal Romance

Length: 92.5m

The 92.5 metre custom creation of Royal Romance was first delivered in 2015 and features “splendid accommodation” inside the 2,900GT interior for a total of 14 guests and 21 crew. The interior of Royal Romance is designed by Seymour Diamond while the exterior styling comes from the boards of Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects. Key premium features on board include a 12-metre long swimming pool that is four metres wide and 1.4 metres deep which is illuminated at night thanks to LED lighting.

Aquarius

Length: 92m

Delivered in 2016, the 92 metre Aquarius was commissioned by an experienced American yacht owner and features contemporary exterior design with archetypal Feadship characteristics, including a conventional bow and raked superstructure shape. Designed by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design in collaboration with Studio De Voogt, the yacht features accommodation for a total of 12 guests and 34 crew inside a massive 2,856GT interior while power comes from twin MTU 16V4000M63L engines for a top speed of 17 knots.
