First 31m Lazzara "ultra-high-volume" UHV 100 superyacht hits the water

US-headquartered yard Lazzara Yachts has announced the launch of the first superyacht from its UHV 100 series.

The 30.5-metre model follows in the footsteps of the UHV 87, which debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022. Both models focus on high-volume layouts with a distinctive trompe l'oeil exterior that gives the illusion of an additional deck. Designed in-house by the yard, the UHV 100 has been constructed with aerospace-grade composite, chosen for its strength-to-weight performance.

According to the yard, the UHV 100 "rivals vessels far beyond its size category" in terms of volume, with 225GT, approximately 260 square metres of interior space and 125 square metres of exterior space.

The new build's interior renderings were released early last year by her joint central agents, Fraser and Northrop & Johnson, with her listing currently asking €13,495,000.

Renders revealed the yacht's refined interior scheme, which favours dark woods, neutral-toned furniture and pops of colour in soft furnishings and artwork. The main deck is home to the owner’s cabin, while four guest cabins are found on the lower deck for a total of up to 10 guests. Meanwhile, the upper deck features a "huge pilot house" alongside a full-beam saloon that leads out onto an al fresco lounging and dining space. Crew accommodation is for five.

Exterior decks are designed for entertaining, relaxation and panoramic ocean views, with spaces including a broad aft deck with direct access to the swim platform and a foredeck "hot tub lounge" with a six-person dip pool - a key difference to the UHV 90.

“With the UHV 100, our mission was to push beyond conventional limits - not only in volume but also in how a yacht is built and engineered," said David Galante, executive vice president of Lazzara Yachts. ”From aerospace-grade materials to full system redundancy, this yacht is designed to deliver unmatched reliability, safety and comfort.”

Deniz Diduk, marketing director at Lazzara Yachts, added: “Owners today expect more than just luxury - they expect confidence. The UHV 100 delivers that through intelligent engineering, backup systems and construction quality that ensures they can enjoy their yacht without compromise."

The yacht has a provisional top speed of 16 knots and a range of 1,100 nautical miles at an eight-knot cruising speed powered by twin 1,000hp Volvo Penta D13 engines. A draught of 1.8 metres will allow the UHV 100 to access shallow bays and anchorages, as seen in the Bahamas and Caribbean.

The UHV 100 has a beam of 7.4 metres

The UHV 90 is the smallest entry in the range, which also includes the UHV 100, UHV 125 and its largest model to date: the UHV 160. According to the yard, the UHV 130 is also in active design development.

In January, Lazzara Yachts began construction of the UHV 160. British studio H2 Yacht Design has been brought on to design the interiors, with the 48-metre scheduled for completion in 2028.
