Evan K. Marshall

History

Inspired by a childhood spent boating, superyacht designer Evan K. Marshall set up his own design office in 1993 in London and has since established a reputation for innovative interior solutions as well as solid exterior styling and superyacht interior design. His background includes training in land and naval architecture as well as interior design, making him a sought-after all-rounder.

Notable yachts

Among his ground-breaking designs are the first tri-level master stateroom on a yacht – the 1997 Heesen Opus II – and the first split level master staterooms on production yachts. His megayacht designs include the interior for 74 metre Trinity New Horizon and the Trinity Lady Linda, as well as several projects for yacht owner John Staluppi including The World Is Not Enough and Diamonds Are Forever.

Specialisations

Working not only with custom superyacht design but also semi-custom builders, the Evan K. Marshall portfolio includes collaborations with Horizon, Ocean Alexander, Pearl, Broward Marine and Hatteras. He has also worked on several private residential design projects.

A diverse range of design projects includes coach interiors, cars, offices and a cruise ship. Evan K. Marshall has won awards and plaudits for a number of projects including the Ocean Alexander 120, and has been a finalist at the World Superyacht Awards several times.
