The 43.9 metre sailing yacht Encore has been jointly listed for sale by Georges Bourgoignie at Fraser and Burgess.
Built in aluminium by New Zealand yard Alloy Yachts to a design by Dubois, Encore was delivered in 2013 with a refit in 2018. Accommodation is for up to 10 guests in four cabins laid out as a master suite, two doubles and a twin plus two Pullman berths. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, Samsung television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep six staff aboard this yacht for sale.
In the upper saloon, a U-shaped sitting area to starboard is raised to enjoy unobstructed views through 180 degrees of tinted glass, converting into an informal dining area for 10 by lifting the self-stowing leaves. There is also a bar and an entertainment centre including a large screen television set on a rise and fall mechanism.
On the technical side, she features Southern Spars’ latest carbon fibre five-spreader mast and in-boom furling system complete with a full set of EC6+ composite standing rigging. The sail wardrobe is by Doyle, using its latest Stratis composite technology.
Over the cockpit, the profile takes a subtle step up with a fixed glass windshield wrapping around the front. This, in turn, echoes the raked glass that sweeps around the forward rise of the superstructure, providing drama to the external lines and a source of light and space to the saloon below. Her top speed is 12 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from an 873hp Caterpillar C-18-ACERT diesel engine.
Lying in Auckland, New Zealand, Encore is asking $22,000,000.
