The 27.5 metre sailing yacht Atalante has been sold by Superyacht Partners, who represented the seller, with Bernard Gallay, who introduced the new owner.
Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Claasen Jachtbouw with exterior and interior design by Andre Hoek, Atalante was delivered in 2009 as the second in the yard's famed Truly Classic series. MCA compliant, she accommodates six guests in a master suite, a double VIP stateroom and a twin cabin, all with en suite facilities. She was the recipient of an initial refit in 2014/2015 with an additional comprehensive refit in spring 2019.
A classically styled interior features mahogany joinery with raised and fielded panels. The saloon has a comfortable seating area with a coffee table and a full entertainment system, while the forward deckhouse consists of a second socialising area with a dining table and navigation station. Two separate cockpits complete the living quarters – one aft for sailing and one amidships for al fresco dining and relaxation.
Atalante has also participated in various regattas in the Caribbean and Mediterranean - with success too. She won the Hoek Design Cup for the second consecutive year in 2013 as well as a second overall position in the 2013 Palma Superyacht Cup.
Powered by a 250hp Lugger engine, she has a cruising speed of eight knots and can get to a top speed of nine knots.
Atalante was asking €3,600,000 with VAT paid.
