First look inside custom 45m CDM explorer yacht Tremenda

Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche (CDM) has offered a first look inside its 45-metre custom explorer, Tremenda following her delivery this March. The yacht was commissioned by "an experienced owner" in 2021, who was said to work closely with the team during the design and development stage of the build.

Tremenda was designed by Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta, with straight, squared-off exterior lines that connect an almost vertical bow to an inviting transom with a generous beach club. She was launched in November 2024 in a ceremony held at its facilities in Ancona, Italy, which marked her first sighting since construction began in March 2022.

She was sold by FGI Yacht Group and managed by Arrow Yachts in conjunction with CDM

"Building this fully custom explorer yacht has been both a complex and rewarding endeavour," said Vasco Buonpensiere, yard CEO. "Tremenda encapsulates CDM's core values – vision, character and true ocean-going capability."

A key focus of the design is a connection with the outdoors. Oversized windows on both the main and upper decks offer a close connection with the exterior environment, while ample space has been dedicated to al fresco lounging and dining.

Regarding the interior layout, Tremenda can accommodate eight guests across four large suites, all located on the lower deck. The owners have the entire forward section of the main deck to themselves, encompassing a full-beam apartment complete with his-and-hers bathrooms, a dressing room and an adjoining lounging area for relaxing in total privacy. The newly released imagery reveals rich, warm interiors with mid-century modern influences, including chequered carpets and contemporary artwork.

"We are extremely satisfied with Tremenda," said the owner. "What impressed us most was CDM's ability to deliver the yacht through a fine-tuned teamwork, where every member played their part with skill and dedication, always striving for excellence."

Twin MAN V12-1400 engines powers the explorer yacht to a top speed of 14.5 knots, while an extended cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles ensures that Tremenda can explore the furthest reaches of the globe with her owner.
