Dutch yard Moonen Yachts has announced that the hull and superstructure of the ninth unit from its 122 Martinique model, hull YN207, have been joined.
The milestone was celebrated at a ceremony at Moonen’s facilities in North Brabant in the southern Netherlands. Following the joining, the 37.4-metre build will now move into the outfitting phase, where all technical systems and interior elements will be installed, ahead of final commissioning and sea trials. Delivery is scheduled for January 2027.
The construction update comes almost three months after the shipyard confirmed the new build's sale to American owners. Moonen’s global sales representatives, Matthew Stone and Richard Gray of IYC, represented the yard in the deal, while Alex G. Clarke of Denison Yachting introduced the buyer.
René Van Der Velden is behind the model's exterior design, with naval architecture completed by Diana Yacht Design. This unit will be the second from the series to feature a Vripack interior, which, according to the yard, has been crafted to deliver a "serene, light-filled environment".
Hull nine is expected to include several custom additions, including a Jacuzzi on the sundeck. Other highlights on board the 345GT yacht include a full-beam owner’s suite with forward-facing windows and an expansive galley and pantry.
The yard noted the owner's attraction to the flexible layout of the model, in addition to the "strong sense of connection to the sea" between interior and exterior spaces.
When delivered, the yacht will join the seventh from the series, Ad Astra, which was delivered in October last year. The Martinique model has proved itself popular, with the eighth unit also under construction.
