Length: 36m
Builder: Trident
Year: 1997
Widely considered one of Jack Hargrave’s finest designs, the 36.5-metre Trident expedition yacht, Escape of London, was built in 1997 for exploring, long-range cruising and fishing adventures. The yacht features an air-conditioned veranda, a 5,000lb crane for large tenders and a fisherman's aft cockpit with a fish tank for storing the day's catch.
Escape of London cruises comfortably at around 10 knots, and can reach up to 5,000 nautical miles – impressive for a sub-37-metre yacht. Her previous owner notes that her standout feature is her incredible stability and lack of vibration and noise – all of which makes for an exceptionally peaceful onboard experience. Accommodation is for eight guests across four rooms, including a master stateroom that can be converted into two single cabins. There is further accommodation for six crew.
Escape of London is asking $2,990,000 under a JCA with Judel/Vrolijk & Co and Fraser.
